Dear Visitor,

First I would like to introduce myself; I am Danny Peterson the President of Delta Tau Delta for 2009. I am currently in my Senior year and majoring in Communications. Being a brother since fall 2006 of my Sophmore year, I have seen tremendous growth and change within the chapter. We have grown from a small organization of 20 members to one now with 62 brothers and an ever increasing presence on campus. This year will be no exception as we have numerous goals set out for the year.

The Fraternity has helped my college experience by offering a scholastic support, hands-on experience in leading committees, managing budgets and interacting with faculty and administrators, exposure to potential careers through educational programs and discussions with alumni. It has given me the chance to give back to the community through service projects, and has given me close friends who will support me when I am successful and help me when times are tough. With all these opportunities available to everyone in this chapter, it is no wonder that fraternity members tend to graduate from college at a higher rate than those men not involved in fraternities.

We achieved a 10 man spring pledge class that will be an integral part in the future of this chapter. We will be participating in many community service projects this year and striving to finish first in every philanthropy we participate in. On the subject of philanthropies, the brothers of Delta Tau Delta are proud to announce our Inaugural Miss Greek Pageant, benefiting the American Cancer Society and Bleed Purple. The 2009 Miss Greek Pageant will take place April, 15 at 7:00 pm at The Venue.

With all of these great things coming in the next year, I can assure you that your son will be a part of an extraordinary organization and receive the very most from his college experience. The chapter and I look forward to what the year has in store and updating you each month on our accomplishments!

Fraternally,

Daniel C. Peterson
