Jobs/Internships

This is the reason you came to college, to get a BETTER JOB than what you could get with a High School Diploma. Delt has a job bank maintained by alumni, that coordinate INTERNSHIPS that are available in many different areas (i.e. Business, Engineering, Political Science, Marketing, etc.).

Our biggest goal is to make sure you graduate in 4 years, and that when you are graduating you are setup with a job, because of the connections you made through our Delt alumni.

Academically, Delt at UCF has maintained a 2.9 GPA in 2009, which is well above the All Men’s Average at UCF.

Leadership

Delta Tau Delta nationally is one of the only fraternities that offers FREE leadership academies occurring throughout the year, such as sailing on the coast of Maine, traveling to our founding house in West Virginia, or climbing the mountains in Montana.

We want you to become an ON CAMPUS LEADER that will help you boost your RESUME and allow you to be one step above the competition, because of your experience within Delta Tau Delta.

Experience

The Delt experience begins with an 8 week pledging process that involves ABSOLUTELY NO HAZING. Throughout the Fall 2011 alone you will experience some lasting traditions in Delta Tau Delta, like

• Backwoods Bash (Annual Outdoor Band Party)
• Daytona Beach Weekend Long Formal
• Fantastic Downtown Socials with many great sororities at UCF
• Delt’s Family Weekend (Great time to introduce your parents to your brothers)
• Annual Brotherhood Camping Trip
• Frat Fridays (Pool, volleyball, yard games)
• Homecoming festivities with the best sorority at UCF, Tri Delta!

Many other Delt traditions that will be long lasting and enjoyable for your experience at college. Having the Delta experience is all about having the time of your life, while studying, and maintaining a good GPA, and knowing that you are better suited for the career world with your experiences through Delta Tau Delta.

Athletics

Currently, Delt is RANKED 3RD out of all fraternities at UCF. We have competitive teams for many of the major sports: Football, Soccer, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Baseball and Softball, if not two teams for each. We have ranked #1 in every Golf competition for Greeks, as well as had a blast and done very well at Wiffleball, Ultimate Frisbee, and 2 on 2 Sand Volleyball.

Charity Work

Giving back to the community is something that we strive to do as often as possible. Delt at UCF recently raised $10,000 for the American Cancer Society during our Miss Greek pageant, where every sorority came to participate and money was donated by many corporate sponsors. Also, we have many activities throughout the year to do community service where we have clocked in over 1000 hours last semester.

House

At UCF, there are two types of housing, On Campus or Off Campus, each having their own benefits. Delta Tau Delta has the largest off campus fraternity house at UCF. We have 40+ brothers living in the house during Fall 2011.

Imagine the experience of having your own bedroom and bathroom in a fraternity house. Not only that but you share a kitchen, living room, and laundry room with 3 other brothers. Just to add a few more perks on top of that. At your direct disposal you have:

• Multiple Flat Screen TV’s
• Beach Volleyball Court
• Tennis and Basketball Courts
• Swimming pool
• Large common area for just Delts to relax and host events
• UCF Shuttle to campus
• 24 Hr Security
