Words from the President
Dear Visitor,First I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Mike Van Diggelen the President of Delta Tau Delta. I am currently in my junior year and majoring in finance. Being a brother since fall 2005 of my freshmen year I have seen tremendous growth and change within the chapter. We have grown from a small organization of 20 members to one now with 51 brothers and an ever increasing presence on campus. This year will be no exception as we have numerous goals set out for the year.
As a Fraternity we strive to develop our members into leaders with ample hands on experience and knowledge that will allow brothers to enter the business world with a distinct competitive advantage. With this in mind we have consolidated these ideas into a membership education committee that teach brothers essential life skills including resume building, personal finance, men's health and professional etiquette.
To accommodate our growing brotherhood and planned 20 man spring pledge class we are continuing to make drastic improvements to our current shelter. We have already constructed a patio leading to the sliding glass entryway; and are currently working with our alumni based housing corporation to install French doors and combine the current common room with the adjacent apartment to double the size of shelter and allow for the creation of a library and meeting room.
With all of these great things coming in the next year I can assure you that you will be a part of an extraordinary organization and receive the very most from your college experience. The chapter and I look forward to what the year has in store and updating you each month on our accomplishments!
Fraternally,
Michael Van Diggelen
